Something you either love or hate and an out of town experience.

Drake's So Far Gone mixtape - if you're into Hiphop/Rap, listen to it. You shouldn't pass up a mixtape this great.

When I get tired of the rappers rapping about money, the cars, the fame, and "the hoes", I hit stop and listen to The Script instead. Sometimes I need a pause or a stop button from all the swagging, bragging, and partying, and get in touch with my softer side.

My favorite genre is hip-hop and rap and I am aware of the negativity surrounding it. A lot of rappers do make sense. Some of their songs don't, some of their songs do. It's a love it or hate it relationship. Either way, they will dominate the charts.

A few days ago, I went with some schoolmates on this paradise not yet reached by industrialization and capitalism - Papaya, Nueva Ecija. It is a very long ride from the province's capital and does not attract a lot of tourists. People in there possibly only got the information by word of mouth or letting the pictures speak for its beauty. Which comes after this paragraph, without further ado. CLICK ON IMAGES TO ENLARGE! :)

There are many other photos but I picked out the best ones from a handful of pictures I took. We spent about an hour trekking out the rock formations and finally into some really dark cave with bats and blasts of cold air. Finally out in the sun, we went to the pictures shown above. It was very tiring but rewarding, especially when you actually get to be there.

Come on, Department of Tourism, promote the damn place!

How to get there:

Ride a bus to Gapan in one of the Bus Liners in Cubao. We picked Baliwag Transit (P160, if you're a student, bring your ID.) From Gapan, ride a jeep which will cost one person P23. Tell the driver to bring you to Papaya, where the cave and the water is at. I really don't know the exact name of the place, but show em some pictures and I'm sure they will know from there.

Something you think, feel, and do when bored and you actually want to do something meaningful with your life.

It's my term break so I got nothing better to do but sit in front of the computer and check Facebook multiple times during the day and through the night. I have no life. I hate being on vacation cos my allowance gets cut too. I prefer stressing over some exam the next day after just getting home from a night of getting wasted at some bar.

Thankfully, all the negativity, bitterness, and laziness will be over once school starts in two weeks.

And oh yeah, this might be my last summer vacation, I will be graduating in six months, hopefully sometime around November. Time to get some money and wash those dollar bills like laundry!

Run for Japan. (Registration Fee: P350.)

I don't just mean spending on parties, clothes, and escapades, I also mean doing things for a cause, to explain what I said in the previous paragraph before those asterisks. I mean, what kind of person do you think I am?!

I am planning to participate in fun runs this summer. I like the whole idea of giving and doing something for a cause. I like how the Run For Japan event only costs P350 or close to 9 US Dollars. Because it's not expensive and with the recent media blasting about the unfortunate disaster that struck Japan, this is bound to be participated by many.

Now I just need me some running shoes. There are a LOT of fun runs this summer!

Psychology: Intro and Trivias

Christmas is officially over and New Year is just around the corner! What y'all got lined up for New Year's Eve? I'll have my own New Year's Resolutions posted up on January 1. I seriously have to follow everything on that list, effective forever..hopefully. Haha!

So, let's take a break from greeting each other a Merry Christmas, save that for next year and continue with the regular blog serving. 2010 is like 4 days away!

So let's talk Psychology for this blog. As some of you may know, I'm a Psychology student, shifted from Computer Science and I don't regret this big shift! It's the study of human behavior, what else is more intriguing and interesting than that! I learned a lot of stuff from Psychology and yes, I'll share them with you!

Understand..
Describe..
Control..

Predict..

Behavior.

A Psychologist's code of conduct. If you can do all 4 without a problem, then you've got potential. Everyone needs someone to listen to them and understand what they're feeling. Psychologists come as friends to people they come across, their clients. They establish Rapport!

Difference between a Psychologist and Psychiatrist. A lot of people confuse these two! The only difference is that a Psychiatrist can prescribe medicines to a patient.

The left and right brain. The left brain is more on analytical stuff, very logical and rational! Like all work, and no play! The right brain is probably the more sensitive part. Here's something for you to understand it better.

The Left Hand and the Right Hand. Whichever hand you use to write, it also has to do something with your left and right brain! People who write with the left use their Left Brain "powers" more than their right brain powers. Some people are ambidextrous, meaning both brains function equally. My skilled hand is my left, what's yours? My Mother claimed that when I was a kid, she taught me to write on the right. She was surprised to find out one day I gave up the right and used the left instead, haha! It's weird though, I play Badminton with my right being the good hand.

How to tell if a person is lying, works most of the time! The eyes and body gestures help identify this! If for example you confronted your boyfriend, asking where he was all night.. He explains and looks on the right - what he's saying might be the truth! If he looks on the left - what he's saying could be a lie, it could also say that he's thinking of how to explain things. You gotta watch out for the hands too! If his hands are gripping something while he was explaining and he don't usually do that, he might be lying! His hands must be in sync with what he's explaining. Again, this doesn't work all the time, it's up to your judgment.

I can't tell if he's lying or not; but I know he is! A lot of people can hide the truth like a Ninja. Some are so good at it that you won't even suspect that they're lying. They're called Pathological Liars.

The hardest kind of disorder to cure. Arguably the hardest to cure, Personality Disorder. Why is it hard to cure? Because the patient doesn't admit to some of the things he do or feels. There are many types of PD, I'll have to continue it on my next blog and I'm sure y'all would find it interesting!

Hope you guys enjoyed, these are just some of the basics, some little things you should know! It's helpful stuff, trust me!

Being given an Award.

I've been given this Neno's Award by Ron Centeno of In My Own Words and Sardonyx of Hula, Scoop, Atbp - Talk about having the same Awards from 2 different people LOL. This may not be an Emmy, Oscar, Grammy, or a Golden Globe Award but I appreciate these two people for appreciating my efforts when it comes to the world of blogging.

Now I have to write why I love blogging. (The award requires it.)

  • I originally created this blog so that I can record all the things in my life. Okay, not all as I choose not to share other personal things, just the surface of the whole thing.
  • Social networking. It's alright if strangers read whatever I have to say. Eventually these strangers become my friends anyway.
  • I can explore the world through other people's blogs. Isn't it amazing to see all the other countries in the world I might not visit someday? Take for example the Friday Town Shootout (Anyone can join, ask me about that if interested). It's amazing to have different themes every week and see the world through other people's lens. Usually only pictures but it is awesome having to surf through Canada, US, Japan, China and other countries out of my reach.. for the meantime.
  • I blog because I want to let out my other emotions. The other emotions goes to the ears of my awesome friends.
  • I can learn loads of things by reading people's blogs. I have a dream to participate in a certain game show LOL that requires brains and show off whatever I have learned through other people's blogs and other mediums. Isn't that awesome or was that just plain nerdy LOL.
  • I'm always interested in what people have to say around the world so I'm always excited to read comments and their opinions. And hey, I'll be a Psychologist someday!
  • Oh and I also blog to improve my writing because I know I'm not the best when it comes to grammar but absolutely conscious when it comes to it. Oh and I'm not a Writer and never will be even if I try hard LOL.
The aims of this award:

  • As a dedication for those who love blogging activity and love to encourage friendships through blogging.
  • To seek the reasons why we all love blogging!
  • Put the award in one post as soon as you receive it
  • Don’t forget to mention the person who gives you the award.
  • Answer the award’s question by writing the reason why you love blogging.
  • Tag and distribute the award to as many people as you like.
  • Don’t forget to notify the award receivers and put their links in your post.

I also would like to give an award to these people: (Hope you wouldn't mind!)

Town Shootout: Houses.

Patty from Crisfield, Maryland came up with this really great idea to have like, a Town Shootout wherein every week, there's a new topic and new photos to look at. Not just new photos but fun adventures and some new knowledge of course! Here are the other participants, check them out if you want more photos and better stuff to look at LOL. My photos aren't that good because I was either walking, in a car, or hurrying while taking the following photos. It would be very weird indeed to take photos in my neighborhood or someone else's neighborhood because it's all new to the eyes of the people. So I literally have to take these secretly. I don't know what will happen to me if they find out LOL. I sure hope they are not technologically advanced, hahaha.

Reggie Girl in Georgia.
Barry in Ontario.
Mark in South Carolina.
J9 in California.
Loida in China.
Missy in Japan.
GingerV in Brazil.

An old house with businesses on the first floor. We've got a lot of them here in the Philippines. The second floor is usually where they have the living rooms, etc.It is not Manila, Philippines when you don't see these shanties! They are a common sight, actually. And to think these shanties are so close to the Business area of the country! Just look at the bottom photo and the pretty neat house with graffiti in its gate LOL.Note the graffiti on the blue gate hahaha. Some kids just won't stop vandalizing. The house with the green gate seems like.. a cage. I guess they are taking extra precaution.Kudos to the cars who kept messing up the photos hahaha. Was taken while I was in a Taxi, these are already pretty modern houses with offices inside it.The colorful house is one of my favorites in the neighborhood. An old friend lives there, I don't see him anymore. Actually, I haven't seen him for years hahaha.Taken from my brother's school building. Here are the roofs of the people living down there. As you can see, the neighborhood are like, clumped to each other. People don't know anything about distance or backyards/gardens for that matter lol.Another one of my favorites. That red was even brighter before when the house was still new. I love this one because it's sooo.. modern and artistic especially if seen personally.Again, my favorites. It is annoying when you don't get too much space because the neighborhood is too cramped, posts are all around and trees just sprout out of nowhere. Result? These two photos LOL. Both are very beautiful and new houses. The blue one is sort of like a Townhouse. Okay, maybe it is a Townhouse.

I hope all you guys enjoyed! Now I just hope my neighbors don't find these and have me arrested.

Much Love,
