Earlier today, while no one was buying goods from our store, I got busy transferring my books from one bookshelf to another. As I was sorting them out, I realized I've read a number of books on American Civil War, Fame and Fortune, Contemporary Stuff, and a whole lot more - I imagine the collection filling up two rooms 10 years from now. I want to have a big Library of Fiction and History books!
Here are some of my books, while I put them in another bookshelf.
I'm glad I have read The Godfather, it's just one of the most influential books of all time! Looking for Godfather II but I can't find stock of it on bookstores..

I like the eclectic mix of books you read. Ranging from "Atonement" to "Rant" by Chuck Palahniuk. That's quite a range. I love it when people have a wide range of interests in reading material.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed seeing some of your book collection and learning that you like history and fiction. So do I. I love historical fiction, especially if it pertains to any war period. No, I'm not a war monger, just enjoy learning more about how things came about I guess. But I especially appreciated your naming your favorite book as that's mine too -love GWTW! I've read it several times, watched to movie too on numerous occasions and way back, I even had a record (LP) with the movie's sound track as well. A bit obsessive on that topic maybe?

ReplyDelete@Jay - Thanks! I'm starting to really like Chuck Palahniuk. First, I was exposed to Fight Club then Rant. Planning to read his books from now on! I gotta admit that I was sort of bored with Atonement. Nevertheless, it has a really good story.
@Jeni - YAY for GWTW! It's gonna live on forever! I'm on the same page as you, I'm not a war monger, I just really like historical fiction. It's wayyy too interesting to miss. Kudos to you, you're a fangirl! I was disappointed that GWTW Hardcover version is not available. Wow LP! One cannot even see the soundtrack anymore!
